<description>Q-fractional proportional derivatives and Q-laplace transforms
Demir, Taylan
Q-kesirli orantısal türevler gösterildikten sonra bu operatörleri içeren bazı belirli denklemlerin çözümleri q-Laplace dönüşümü kullanılarak, detaylarıyla gösterilmiştir.; The main goal of this thesis is to develop a new type of q-fractional operators generated from proportional q-differences. To achieve this goal, first the main aspects and tools related to the q and q-fractional calculi are presented. After then, the proportional q-derivative is discussed. The proportional q-fractional differences or derivatives are proposed and the solutions of certain types of q-difference equations embodied by the proportional fractional derivatives are shown in details utilizing the q-Laplace transforms.

<description>Violence detection in videos using 3D convolutional neural networks and transfer learning
Bu tezin amacı, CNN'lerin tasarımı ve matematiği hakkında kapsamlı bir açıklama sağlamak, iki 3D CNN modelini implemente etmek ve bu modelleri birçok yönden açıklamak ve analizini yapmaktır.; Automatic violence detection using computerized systems instead of manpower has been a subject of significant contemporary interest among researchers recently. In addition, Deep Learning models such as Convolutional Neural Networks have been successfully applied to many different tasks in a wide range of domains, including video recognition. To that end in this thesis, a computerized model for violence recognition will be designed which does not require manual human inspection. Two models will be designed, including a simple 3D CNN and a MoViNet 3D CNN which uses transfer learning. A combined dataset consisting of 5200 videos will be used to train and run the models. The aim of this thesis is to give a comprehensive explanation to the design and mathematics of CNNs, implement two 3D CNN models and explain and analyze them in many aspects.

The goal is to attain a given level of precision with the fewestfunction evaluations.The factors that control the diï¬ culty of a numerical integration problem are thedimension of the integral and the smoothness of the integrand f .Any quadrature method relies on evaluating the integrand f on a ï¬ nite set of points(called the abscissas or quadrature points), and after processing these evaluations toproduce an approximation to the integral. Usually this involves taking a weightedaverage.The goal is to determine which points to evaluate and what weight to use so as tomaximize performance over a broad class of integrands.This study reviews Monte Carlo and Newton-Cotes methods of numerical approx-imation of integrals on both rectangular and nonrectangular regions and containsnew routines that can evaluate integrals up to 7 dimensions over arbitrary regions inMATLAB.The work aims to compare the methods and give some approximation results usingour self-written code.

<description>(alpha-psi) Type contractive mappings and related fixed point theorems
Ürgüp, Edanur
This thesis consists of three sections. The first section is reserved for introduction,&#13;
some basic definitions and declaration of literature about alpha-psi type contractive mappings and related fixed point theorems have been presented. The second&#13;
section deals with the main results. We have applied definition of alpha-admissible&#13;
for two different functions of f and T. Furthermore, we have investigated their&#13;
results. Finally, the third section includes discussion and conclusion.; Bu ¸calı¸sma ¨u¸c b¨ol¨umden olu¸smu¸stur. Birinci b¨ol¨um giri¸s,temel tanımlar,literat¨ur&#13;
