Algılanan örgütsel destek ve sosyal desteğin yaşam tatminine etkisi: TSK mensubu rütbeli gaziler üzerinde bir araştırma

Abstract

Bireylerin yaşam tatmini seviyelerini etkileyen birçok etken mevcuttur. Bu etkenler arasından bireylerin farklı çevrelerden algıladıkları destek seviyesinin yaşam tatminleri üzerindeki etkisinin belirlenmesi bu çalışmanın amacını oluşturmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, Türk Silahlı Kuvvetlerinde görev yaparken malul olmuş rütbeli gazilere kurumları (TSK) tarafından sağlanan örgütsel destek ile yakın çevresi tarafından sağlanan sosyal desteğin, onların yaşam kalitesine etki düzeyi nicel yöntemler ile tespit edilmiştir. Ankara'da ikamet eden rütbeli gazilerle yüzyüze görüşmek suretiyle, Türkiye'nin çeşitli illerinde ikamet eden rütbeli gaziler ile de elektronik posta aracılığıyla olmak üzere toplam 208 rütbeli gaziye anket uygulanmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre; örgütsel destek, sosyal destek ve çalışma arkadaşları desteğinin yaşam tatminini olumlu etkilediği tespit edilirken, aile ve özel insan desteğinin rütbeli gazilerin yaşam tatminleri üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisinin olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte, gazilere kurumları tarafından sağlanan örgütsel desteğin, algılanan sosyal desteğe göre yaşam tatminlerini daha fazla etkilediği tespit edilmiştir.

There are many factors that affect life satisfaction levels of individuals. Among these factors, the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the perceived support from different institutions on life satisfaction. In accordance with this purpose, effect of perceived organizational support and perceived social support on life satisfaction is evaluated with quantitative methods for a sample that composed of disabled soldier officers who are members of Turkish Armed Forces. Questionnaire was applied face to face for the ones that reside in Ankara and for the ones that reside in other cities it was applied via e-mail; the sample of the study consists of a total of 208 soldier officers. According to the research findings, it was determined that organizational support, social support and the support from their colleagues has a positive effect on the life satisfaction of disabled soldiers; whereas support form family and significant others do not have a significant effect on their life satisfaction. Besides, it has been found that rather than their perceived social support, the organizational support provided to them by their institutions has more effect on their life satisfaction.
