A New Narrow Band Dual-Mode Microstrip Slotted Patch Bandpass Filter Design Based On Fractal Geometry

Mezaal, Yaqeen S.; Eyyuboğlu, Halil T. (IEEE, 2012)

A narrowband, compact, and easily fabricated microstrip bandpass filter design is introduced in this paper as a candidate for use in modern wireless systems. The proposed filter design is based on the use of dual-mode (two ...
Alternative Enhancement of Associativity Based Routing (Aeabr) for Mobile Networks

Preveze, Barbaros; Safak, Aysel (Springer, 2010)

This study proposes an alternative enhancement for the Enhanced Associativity Based Routing (EABR) method which is a derivation of ABR (Associativity Based Routing) by relative speed and relative distance estimation using ...
Comparative Analysis of Novel Long Life Routing Methods In Mobile Networks

Preveze, Barbaros; Safak, Aysel (IEEE, 2010)

In this study we propose two novel ABR extended Long Life Routing Methods called Alternative enhancement for Enhanced Associativity Based Routing (AEABR) and Associativity Tick Averaged ABR (ATAABR) methods which are also ...
Effects of laser multimode content on the angle-of-arrival fluctuations in free space optics access systems

Eyyuboğlu, Halil T.; Baykal, Yahya (Spie-Int Soc Optical Engineering, 2004)

The effects of the multimode content in a laser beam on the angle-of-arrival fluctuations are examined for free space optics (FSO) access systems. Multimode excitation is represented by coherent addition of Hermite-Gaussian ...
Flat-Topped Field Correlations In Extremely Strong Turbulence

Baykal, Yahya (Electromagnetics Acad, 2011)

In extremely strong turbulent horizontal atmospheric optical links, field correlations of flat-topped Gaussian incidence are evaluated. Field correlations are represented versus the diagonal distance at the receiver plane, ...
IEEE

Schmidt, Klaus Werner (2013 Ieee 52Nd Annual Conference On Decision and Control (Cdc), 2013)

Reconfigurable manufacturing systems (RMSs) are designed to quickly adapt to new products and production requirements. To this end, RMSs need to be able to perform fast changes between different configurations. This paper ...
Intensity Fluctuations of Incoherently Superposed Gaussian Beams In Atmospheric Turbulence

Baykal, Yahya (Spie-Int Soc Optical Engineering, 2010)

Intensity fluctuations of incoherently superposed Gaussian beams are formulated in weak turbulence by employing the extended Huygens-Fresnel principle. Each individual beam superposed is taken to be fully incoherent. The ...
Method of Evaluation of the Mutual Coherence Function of Laser Beams and Its Application for Symmetric Dark Hollow Beams

Banakh, V. A.; Marakasov, D. A.; Rytchkov, D. S.; Baykal, Yahya; Eyyuboğlu, Halil T. (Spie-Int Soc Optical Engineering, 2011)

In our report, a method of evaluation of the mutual coherence function (MCF) of optical wave propagating in turbulent atmosphere is proposed. The method is based on using inverse Fresnel transform and 2-D Fast Fourier ...
Performance analysis of mimo fso systems with radial arraybeams and finite sized detectors

Gökçe, Muhsin Caner; Kamacıoğlu, Canan; Uysal, Murat; Baykal, Yahya (Spie-Int Soc Optical Engineering, 2014)

Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems are employed in free space optical (FSO) links to mitigate the degrading effects of atmospheric turbulence. In this paper, we consider a MIMO FSO system with practical transmitter ...
