dc.description.abstract An edge contour which is discontinuous is taken into account. The geometric optics and edge diffracted waves are obtained for the oblique incidence of a plane wave. The discontinuity in the geometry is expressed in terms of a unit step function. By using a property of the Fresnel function, the corner diffracted field is expressed. tr_TR
