Soğuk savaş döneminde Türkiye'deki komünizmle mücadele dernekleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye'de Soğuk Savaş'ın hissedildiği dönemde, artan anti-komünist ve anti-Sovyet tutum neticesinde ortaya çıkan Komünizmle Mücadele Dernekleri'ni incelemektir. Çalışmada, Türkiye'nin Soğuk Savaş'a dâhil oluşunun nedenleri ve sonrasında oluşan politik gerilimlerin Komünizmle Mücadele Dernekleri'nin kurulumunu nasıl etkilediği açıklanacaktır. Çalışma üç ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde 1940'lı yıllarda İkinci Dünya Savaşı'nın getirdiği gerilimin Türkiye'ye olan yansımaları incelenmiştir. Ayrıca savaş sonrası dönemde değişen dünya düzeninde Türkiye'de yaşanan değişimler bu bölümün ana hatlarını oluşturmuştur. İkinci bölümde, Türkiye'nin çok partili hayata geçişi sonrasında Demokrat Parti'nin iktidara gelmesi ve NATO'ya üyelik sonrasında Türkiye'nin ordu, bürokrasi ve kültürel alanda yaşadığı Amerikan modelli değişim ele alınmıştır. Daha sonrasında 27 Mayıs 1960 askeri darbesi sonrası yeniden şekillenen Türk siyasetini anlamak için 1960'lı yıllar alt başlığı altında, Türkiye'nin 1960'lı yıllarda yaşadığı politik olaylar mercek altına alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde, Türkiye'de bugüne kadar kurulan Komünizmle Mücadele Dernekleri'nin tarihi anlatılmıştır. Bölümde, farklı kişiler tarafından farklı şehirlerde dört kez kurulup 1948 yılından 1985 yılına kadar faaliyet gösteren Komünizmle Mücadele Dernekleri'nin kurucuları, ilişkileri, yapısı ve faaliyetleri incelenmiş ve Türkiye'de anti-komünist düşünceye sağladığı katkılar ortaya konmuştur.

This study aims to investigate the Associations for Struggle Against Communism that emerged as a result of the increasing anti-communist and anti-Soviet attitude during the period when the effects of Cold War were felt in Turkey. In the study, the reasons why Turkey participated in the Cold War and how the formation of the Associations for Struggle Against Communism was affected by the political tensions occurring afterwards are to be explained. The study consists of three main sections. The first section deals with reflections of the tension caused by World War II in the 1940s on Turkey. Moreover, this section outlines the changes experienced in Turkey parallel to the changing post-war world order. The second section addresses the accession of Democrat Party's to power after Turkey's transition to multi-party system as well as the American-modeled changes Turkey experienced in military, bureaucracy and culture following the NATO membership. Thereafter, the political events that occurred in Turkey in the 1960s were closely examined under the subtitle of 1960s to provide an insight into Turkish politics, reshaped after the military coup on May 27th, 1960. The third section covers the history of the Associations for Struggle Against Communism that were established in Turkey up until today. In the section, the founders, relationships, structures and activities of the Associations for Struggle Against Communism that were founded four times by various people in various cities, and were operational from 1948 to 1985 were investigated, and their contributions on the anti-communist stance in Turkey were revealed.
