dc.description.abstract	This study investigates the relationship between foreign direct investment (FDI) and economic growth in Nigeria. Bounds testing approach and Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model were used in model estimation for the period covering 1981- 2013. The results do not indicate that FDI has an effect on real GDP neither in the long run nor in the short run. Only international trade and population growth have statistically significant effect on real GDP.	tr_TR
dc.description.abstract	Bu çalısma doğrudan yabancı yatırımlar (DYY) ile ekonomik büyüme arasındaki iliskiyi Nijerya için incelemektedir. Çalısmada ARDL bounds test yöntemi ve 1981-2013 dönemi zaman serileri kullanılmıstır. Sonuçlar DYY ile reel GSYĐH arasında kısa ve uzun dönmede bir iliski olduğunu göstermemistir. Sadece uluslararası ticaret ve nüfus artısı reel ile GSYĐH arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir iliski bulunmustur.	tr_TR
