The Analysis of a purchasing department in ahigh school in terms of total quality management principles

Abstract

Yeni millenyuma girdiğimiz bu yıllarda, tüm dünyada gittikçe yaygınlaşan Toplam Kalite Yönetimi çalışmaları mal ve hizmet sektörünün her alanında uygulanmaktadır. Toplam kalite çalışmaları; eğitim kurumlan, üniversiteler, kolejler, lise, ilköğretim v.b. gibi hizmet sektörlerinde de uygulanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, bir lisenin satınalma biriminde, toplam kalite çalışma yönetimine yönelik yürütülen çalışmalar sayısal olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Toplam kalite uygulamalarının çalışanlar üzerindeki etkisi ve iç müşterilerin izlenimleri incelenmiştir. Bu çalışma için üç tür anket uygulanmıştır. Sonuçlar arasında istatiksel olarak önemli ilişkiler olduğu gözlenmiştir.

In the new millennium, Total Quality studies have been applied in many areas of goods and services sectors at an increased intensity. Total Quality studies have also been applied in service sectors such as education institutions, universities, colleges, high schools and primary schools. This study presents a quantitative analysis to evaluate the overall work related outcomes in the implementation of total quality management in the purchasing department of a high school. The effect of total quality management applications on purchasing department employees as well as internal customer perceptions have been investigated. Three kinds of questionnaires have been applied. Results show that there are statistically significant correlations between outcomes.
