Firmalar, toplam maliyetlerini düşürmek ve pazar paylarını arttırmak için, üretim hatlarının tasarımlarını iyileştirmeye gereksinim duyarlar. Talepteki hızlı değişim daha kısa zamanda daha fazla üretim yapma zorunluluğunu getirmektedir. Bu tezde, iş makinaları üretim fabrikasındaki Bachoe - Loader hattı incelenmiştir. Değişik metodlarla elde edilen çözümlerin, performans karakteristikleri ve toplam üretim maliyetleri baz alınarak, mevcut üretim hattı ile karşılaşılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar U-lino yönteminin en iyi çözüm olduğunu göstermiştir. Bu çözüm ile yıllık fabrika giderleri yaklaşık 55.000 $ düşürülürken; toplam artık zaman da %98 oranınında azaltılmıştır. Üretim miktarı ise %42 oranında arttırılmıştir.
The firms need to design better production lines to decrease the total cost and to increase their market share. The rapid changes in demand for industrial products brings the necessity to produce more goods in a shorter time. In this thesis, Bachoe Loader production line in a heavy equipment factory has been investigated. Solutions obtained by different methods has been compared with the present design based on response variables and the total cost of the line. The results point out that U-Lino method has given the best solution and decreased the total idle time by 98%, reduced the expences of the factory approximately $ 55.000 per year and increased the production rate by 42 %.
