Fabrika ve atölye benzeri kapalı çalışma ortamlarında, çeşitli kaynaklardan (makine ve ekipmanlar gibi sabit kaynaklar veya araçlar gibi hareketli kaynaklar) dolayı oluşan gürültü, en mühim ergonomik konulardan birisidir. Bu tip imalat merkezlerinde gürültünün çoğunluğunu genellikle sabit kaynaklar oluşturmaktadır. Gürültü haritası diye adlandırılan, imalathanenin kuşbakışı yerleşim planı üzerinde gürültü değerlerini (genellikle dBA cinsinden) eş eğriler ile gösteren krokiler, konunun uzmanlarınca imalathanede uzun süren ölçümler alınarak yüksek bedellerle hazırlanmakta, çalışanların gürültü maruziyetlerine göre alınacak tedbirler 6331 sayılı İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliği Kanunundaki gürültü maruziyet limit ve uygulamalarına göre bu gürültü haritaları baz alınarak işyerince düzenlenmektedir. Gürültüyü olduğu gibi kabul ederek kanunen ona uygun aksiyonlar almanın yanısıra, gürültü ile mücadele etmek de çok mühim bir konudur. Sabit gürültü kaynaklarının bulunduğu bir kapalı çalışma ortamındaki gürültünün, çalışma ortamının değişik noktalarındaki değerini hesaplamaya yönelik bir hesaplama yöntemi geliştirmek ve böylece gürültü haritasını daha kısa sürede ve ucuz maliyetle oluşturmak oldukça önemli bir iyileştirmedir. Bu hesaplama yöntemi sonucunda işletmede çalışanları gürültünün etkilerinden korumaya yönelik tedbirler oluşturulabilecektir ve gürültüyü maruz kalan kişide kontrol altına almak için işletmedeki çalışanların maruziyet değerlerini önceden hesaplamak sureti ile önlem planlamak mümkün olacaktır. Ses güç seviyesi belirsiz bir ses kaynağı için, sesin soğurulma ve yankılanmasını gösteren oda sabiti değeri belirsiz bir kapalı ortamda, herhangi bir noktada gürültü değerinin hesaplanabilmesini sağlamak bu çalışmanın ana hedefidir.Çoklu ses kaynakları için yöntemimiz genelleştirildiğinde, pratik hayatta olan üretim tesis koşullarında rastlanan ses güç seviyesi belirsiz makineler ve oda sabiti belirsiz kapalı üretim alanlarında gürültü haritası oluşturmak ve önlemler belirlemek mümkün olabilecektir
Noise caused by various sources (fixed sources such as machinery and equipment or moving sources such as vehicles) in closed working environments such as factories and workshops is one of the most important ergonomic issues. In this type of manufacturing centers, the majority of the noise is usually from stationary sources. The sketches that show the noise values (usually in dBA) on the bird's-eye layout plan of the workshop, called as the noise map, are prepared at high prices by taking long-term measurements in the workshop by the experts of the subject. It is arranged by the workplace based on these noise maps according to the applications and practices. Besides accepting the noise as it is and taking legal actions, it is also very important to struggle with noise. Developing a noise calculation method to be used for different locations in a closed working environment with fixed noise sources and help to produce the noise map with less time and cost using the method would be a good improvement. As a result of this calculation method, measures can be created to protect the employees in the enterprise from the effects of noise, and it will be possible to plan measures by calculating the exposure values of the employees in the enterprise in order to control the noise in the exposed person. The main goal of this study is to enable calculation of noise level at any location of a closed room, where the room constant defining the absorption and the reverberation is unknown, caused by a sound source with unknown sound power level. When our method is generalized to multiple sound sources, it would be possible to produce noise map and take precautions against noise for production facilities having machines with unknown sound power levels and closed working environments with unknown room constants.
